The University of Otago is New Zealand’s first university and a vibrant international centre of learning. It was established in 1869 by Scottish settlers with a strong conviction in the transforming power of education. Today the University has about 20,000 students, from all over New Zealand and from nearly 100 countries around the world. With plenty of space to host our members and a beautiful central location, it’s an impressive venue providing easy access to a wide range of places to stay and eat.
Castle Lecture Theatre Complex
Location: 362 Leith Street, Dunedin
The Castle Theatre Complex is located in the central region of the University of Otago's Dunedin campus, between the Arts Building and the Information Services Building. The Castle Lecture Theatre Complex accommodates six pool teaching spaces: two lecture theatres and four seminar rooms.
Arts Building
Location: 95 Albany Street, Dunedin
The Arts Building (aka the Burns Building) is located in the central region of the Dunedin campus, near the Castle Theatre Complex at the end of the Information Services Building. The Arts Building accommodates seven pool teaching spaces: two lecture theatres and five seminar rooms.
Business School/ Te Wao Nui
Location: 60 Clyde Street, Dunedin
The newly redeveloped University of Otago Business School’s common space, which began in October 2016, expands over two floors. The redevelopment brings it into line with a more modern learning environment. This new common area is known as Te Wao Nui and is the location for the conference Icebreaker.
The Link
Location: 65 Albany Street, Dunedin
The Link was designed to expand the University's existing 1960s library to become a new, digitally advanced Information Services Building, connecting the new building with the existing student union. The Link is the location for the Poster Session on Tuesday.

Parking
Due to demand for parking on campus, the University is unable to provide many dedicated visitor parking spaces. We recommend taking a ride service to the conference venue. Optionally you can choose a 15-20min walk from the city centre or there are a number of motels closer to the conference venue.
