🎤 Speed Talks
Format & Timing
- Speed talks are designed to provide a concise overview of your research or project. Presenters will have a maximum of 5 minutes speaking time and may use a maximum of 6 slides. To help keep presentations focused and engaging, we recommend using no more than 5 slides.
- Speed talks will typically be scheduled in blocks of 3 to 4 presentations, followed by a shared question and answer session of up to 10 minutes. Audience questions may be directed to any presenter within the block.
- As questions are held until the end of the session, presenters are expected to remain in the room for the entire speed talk block, including the Q&A discussion. This format provides an excellent opportunity to highlight key findings and spark interest in your work.
