What does full registration include?
Entrance to all conference sessions

Registration does not include
Field trips on Thursday 6 October. Please see the Field Trips page for costs and details.
Conference Dinner at the Transitional Cathedral on Thursday 6 October. Tickets are $100 per person, including an arrival drink, 2-course meal and entertainment.
Accommodation - affordable accommodation has been negotiated for your stay in the Garden City, Ōtautahi. Rooms range from $125-229 per night and are all within the CBD and walking distance of the Town Hall. Please see the Accommodation page for more info & booking.
PPTA Subject Association Grant
Members of PPTA will be able to apply for a grant of up to $700 per year to attend a subject association conference or workshop.
Subject Association Grants in 2021 require pre-approval. This is so that you can have certainty that funding is available before you attend the conference.

Payment
Payment is required at the end of the registration process by Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard or Visa accepted). All fees are expressed in $NZ and include GST of 15%.
For invoice payments, please ensure that payment is made within 7 days or advise us if your organisation has a payment schedule that falls outside of this. Your invoice/receipt will be attached to your confirmation email.

Cancellation & refund policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to soccon2022@confer.co.nz.
Cancellations received on or before 31 August 2022 will be charged an administration fee of $100.
No refund will be given for registration cancellations received from 31 August 2022 including “no shows” at the conference.
Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time.

COVID-19

New Zealand's management of COVID-19 has put us in the fortunate position of being able to host major conferences and events. However, we have seen that this can change very quickly. Our first priority is your health and safety. If we are unable to deliver a live event safely it will be delivered online, using virtual event technology.

In the unlikely case that SOCCON 2022 needs to shift to an online platform, registration fees will be adjusted accordingly and you will be refunded minus the cost of the virtual registration fee. We will work closely with you to ensure you know how to get the most out of the virtual experience. We also have the option of postponing the conference, dependent on timing. In the unlikely event of cancellation, your registration fee will be fully refunded.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
