The Local Organising Committee invites you to view registration rates below for the joint SETAC AU/ACTRA Conference. Online registration will open in March. 

Key Registration Dates:

  • Conference registration opens in March 2025
  • Workshop only sign up opens in March 2025
  • Early registration ends Friday 27 June 2025 
  • Standard registration applies from Saturday 28 June 2025
  • Cancellation deadline (policy below): Saturday 28 June 2025
Pre-conference workshops offered on 25 August are available at a special rate for conference delegates. They are also open to workshop only registrations. See fees and details here.   

Information and application access for travel grants from SETAC AU and ACTRA will be displayed on this page in March.

*SETAC member criteria: SETAC members should have their membership for more than a year prior to the event to be applicable for member rate.

**Student criteria:  Student rates are for those currently involved in tertiary study and enrolled at an academic institution.

Payments: For group bookings or invoice payments, please contact the conference organiser before completing your registration, setac.actra@confer.co.nz. Payment is required at the end of the registration process by Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard or Visa accepted). We are a tax-registered entity in New Zealand, so all transactions are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and subject to Goods & Services Tax (GST 15%).

Full Registration Includes: 

  • Entry to all conference sessions, exhibition and poster displays 
  • Lunches and morning/ afternoon teas during the conference
  • 1 Welcome Reception ticket on Monday 25 August (RSVP required) 
  • 1 Gala Dinner ticket on Wednesday 27 August (RSVP required) 

Full Registration Excludes: 

  • Optional sign up for pre-conference workshops on Monday 25 August. More details can be found HERE
  • Accommodation - please CLICK HERE for our accommodation recommendations. 
  • Travel and transfers - please CLICK HERE to view airline discounts. 

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to setac.actra@confer.co.nz 
  • Cancellations received on or before 28 June 2025 will be charged an administration fee of $100.
  • No refund will be given for registration cancellations received after 28 June 2025 (including “no shows” at the conference).
  • Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time at no added cost


Insurance
It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
