Based on the invited speakers and abstracts that have already been confirmed we are excited to announce that the workshop program will include themes such as:
- Plant-based sensing technology and data management for crop management and irrigation in changing climates
- Advances in methodology for sap flow sensors and other types of plant based sensing technology
- New understanding of fundamental transport processes in trees and other plants, including gas transport, water storage, stem pressure, and leaf functioning
- Stress and climate change effects on transport processes in woody plants, including phloem, xylem and extra-vascular transport
- Tree hydraulics, forest ecology and ecohydrology
