The workshop committee invites you to submit your abstract via the ROSA (Responsive Online System for Acta Horticulturae) submission portal linked in the button above. All abstracts and manuscripts must be submitted via this portal.

ISHS online submission procedures
Language of Submission
Only abstracts submitted in English will be reviewed. All abstracts should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar.
Word Count
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
Document guide
Abstracts must not contain tables, pictures or graphs. All abbreviations must be spelled out on first use.
Submission and Notification
Abstracts must be submitted by 11 August 2023 (extended deadline) for consideration by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of provisional acceptance of abstracts no later than 25 August 2023 and will also be notified if the abstract has been selected for an oral or poster presentation.
All oral presenters, including invited and keynote speakers, will be expected to submit a short conference proceedings manuscript before the workshop (31 October 2023), for publication in Acta Horticulturae. Authors of posters are also strongly encouraged to prepare and submit a manuscript for Acta Horticulturae.
Registration
Presenting authors of abstracts accepted for presentation (both oral/poster) must register for the workshop by 8 September 2023.
The submission charge is not part of the symposium registration fees. For ISHS Individual members, the abstract submission charge is fully waived.
Those who do not hold a user account with ISHS yet: create an ISHS user account first at https://www.actahort.org/members/newmember?asc=1 . After payment and activation of your user account, you can start your abstract submission.
Abstracts must always be submitted by the presenting author, using their own personal ISHS user account. Submitting an abstract on behalf of, or using the ISHS user account of another author is strictly not permitted.
The cost for abstract submission is EUR 80 for individuals residing outside the European Union. For authors submitting from within the EU zone the abstract submission cost is EUR 95 (including VAT).
