COVID-19 Update: We are acutely aware that the effects of COVID-19 are ongoing and that there are still many unknowns as to how the next months and year will develop. Many international conferences in 2020 and early 2021 have been postponed for an extended period or run as virtual conferences. It is our preference and intention to run the 16th SGA Biennial Meeting as an in-person conference in November 2021. However, the health and safety of all participants is a top priority, and the conference Local Organising Committee and SGA Council are assessing and reviewing the global situation on a regular basis, planning for different eventualities.

Our next date for considering the COVID-19 situation in relation to the November 2021 SGA Biennial Meeting is February 2021. Any updates will be communicated via the conference website and email notifications. In the interim we do encourage participants to submit abstracts within the submission deadlines and time frame for the November 2021 meeting.
