Volcanofest is a celebration of everything volcanic! Come and discover volcanoes through art, photography, and volcano demonstrations, and meet famous volcanologists from around the world (in-person!). With lots of fun exhibits and events throughout the day, there'll be something for everyone to enjoy:

• Voclano art and photography exhibition (all day)
• Volcano experiments and game demonstrations (10-4.30pm)
• Ask A Volcanologist question panel and volcano explosion  (general public and press; 10.45 - 12.00pm)
• Meet A Volcanologist and volcano explosion   (for kids and families; 2.15 - 3.30pm)

To get there, follow the Volcano Fest signs around the side of the Rotorua Energy Events Centre to the side entrance to the Sportsdrome located on Queens Drive.

Volcano Fest is a public open day being held in conjunction with the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI) Scientific Assembly, being hosted in Rotorua from 20 Jan - 3 Feb.
