POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Virtual and In-Person Posters
All poster presenters (including in-person poster presenters) are asked to pre-record a 1-minute poster teaser video and to also provide a PDF of your poster. These will be uploaded into the poster gallery of the virtual conference platform so that they are visible throughout the conference. There will also be a dedicated virtual poster session on Wednesday 1 February from 8pm - 10pm NZ time, where you can give a live 5 minute presentation multiple times in the 2 hour slot.
All presenters have been sent an email with links to upload your PDF and teaser video, along with a presentation guide with tips & tricks. If you need this email to be resent to you, please email iavcei2023@confer.co.nz.
In-Person Posters
Please print your own poster and bring it to the conference, the poster format should be A0 portrait in size. If you would prefer to have this printed in New Zealand, we can put you in touch with a local printer who could do this for you (there will be a fee you will need to pay for this service), any requests for printing must be received by Friday 13 January please email us at iavcei2023@confer.co.nz. You will be provided velcro dots to hang your poster up on your designated poster board, your poster will be on display only for the day of your allocated poster session. Please remove your poster at the end of your poster session.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
In-Person Oral
The programme is now available to view online. Please CLICK HERE to view the programme and search for your symposia. You will need to click on the hyperlinked symposia names to see where your presentation time has been allocated. You have 15 minutes allocated for your presentation, please allow 12 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes for questions at the end.
Please ensure you use a Powerpoint in 16:9 format. There is no template provided and there are no requirements in terms of images or IAVCEI branding that need to be included.
All presenters have been sent an email with a link to upload your slides. If you need this email to be resent to you, please email iavcei2023@confer.co.nz.
We also recommend you bring your presentation along on a USB. Otherwise, we do have the facility for you to upload your presentation on-site at the conference. Please ensure you report to the AV techs in the speaker prep room which will be located in the room next to the registration desk, at least 2 hours before you are due to present.
Virtual Oral
All presenters have been emailed and asked to advise whether you will be presenting live via Zoom (we will provide you with a link in January) or whether you will provide us with a .mp4 recording instead. If you would like to provide us with a recording, you have the option to just join live for the Q&A, please also let us know whether you would like to do this or not.
Please note, if you would like to present live, we encourage you to provide a .mp4 recording of your presentation as a back-up, in case of any changes to your availability or any technical issues.
