Fun Games & BBQ Night

Do you think the first day of GSNZ 2022 will get you excited and ready to discuss all of the interesting presentations? Maybe it’ll spark that competitive side and you’ll be itching to let it out? Look no further! We have you covered! 

Come and join us for a night of fun and games with a BBQ dinner on the side at the Sports and Rugby Institute, Massey University. Following the public lecture, this event will provide a great opportunity to socialise and have a little fun outside the norm of our scientific proceedings. Bring the family, wear something comfortable, and enjoy!

The event will be $60 per person ($40 for students), which covers the BBQ, two drinks, and plenty of team games. Children’s meals will be charged by age (see registration for details) and a cash bar will be available for additional drinks.

Let your mind run free for this year’s GSNZ 2022 Gala Dinner and “Dream Big: Opening the Door to a Whole New World”. There are no limits to the opportunities that lie ahead. Our Gala Dinner will be the main social event of the conference, held at the beautiful Awapuni Racecourse. Be swept into a new universe and dance the night away with local live band 'Skram'. 

And guess what, students?! We have a new subsidised price, just for you! The event will include dinner, a welcome drink (with a subsequent cash bar for the thirsty), live music following the formal awards and complimentary buses to and from the conference venue and selected locations in town.
