Warning: Fraudulent websites and booking agencies

Please be aware of the proliferation of fraudulent websites impersonating legitimate conference websites and posing as booking agencies. For your safety we advise all attendees to only use the official conference website for all conference related bookings; accommodation, registration and trade exhibitors. (you may also be offered the opportunity to purchase an attendee list – which doesn’t exist). Conferences & Events Ltd is the official accommodation agency for all hotel rooms that have been secured for Morning Halls and for all related official bookings. Any other organisation contacting you to offer hotel rates should be ignored – they are most likely a scam and highly likely to result in you losing any money you pay to them.

Accommodation Options

We’re holding rooms at Moginie Halls of Residence at Massey University and a couple of Palmerston North's main motels. We encourage you to stay at the selected conference accommodation as this gives you more opportunity to network with conference delegates outside of the conference hours. For your convenience, you can book your preferred motel directly with the providers. Rooms are subject to availability, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid missing out on your preferred accommodation.

Massey University – Moginie Halls Accommodation

The halls are located within Massey’s Manawatū campus, close to all student facilities including lecture theatres, the library and the dining hall, and the Colombo Road public bus stop to Palmerston North.

Fully furnished single rooms with linen & towel provided. Each floor has shared bathrooms, common room, laundry and kitchenette for self-catering. Wifi in all rooms and common areas. Accommodation is available for delegates with accessibility requirements on request.

Parking and Transport: Each guest has to obtain a parking permit from reception upon arrival, which has to be displayed in the vehicle at all times. Parking is located along Orchard Road. This is paid parking which requires you to collect a ticket upon entry, or present a Massey University student ID card at the barrier arm. The car park is accessible 24/7.

Note: There is a regular bus service running to the University (and we will provide separate information and links for this to be included on the website at a later stage). Approximate walking time to the conference venue from the Copthorne and Coachman Hotels is 50 minutes, from Awatea Park or Harringtons Motor Lodge, 30 minutes but only a few minutes' drive by car.
