Warning: Fraudulent websites and booking agencies

Please be aware of the proliferation of fraudulent websites impersonating legitimate conference websites and posing as booking agencies. For your safety we advise all attendees to only use the official conference website for all conference related bookings; accommodation, registration and trade exhibitors.  (you may also be offered the opportunity to purchase an attendee list – which doesn’t exist). Conferences & Events Ltd is the official accommodation agency for all hotel rooms that have been secured for Morning Halls and for all related official bookings. Any other organisation contacting you to offer hotel rates should be ignored – they are most likely a scam and highly likely to result in you losing any money you pay to them.

Registration Fees

To qualify for the reduced member fee you need to be a current financial, honorary or complimentary member. New members are welcome to take advantage of this benefit but your membership subscription will need to be paid prior to your registration being made. For details on becoming a members, please see below.

All fees are expressed in $NZ and include GST of 15%. Payment is required at the end of the registration process by Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard or Visa accepted with 2.5% surcharge). Alternatively you can select the option to pay by invoice. 
For Group bookings, please contact the conference organisers before completing your registration, gsnz@confer.co.nz.

If you request payment by invoice, please ensure that payment is made within 7 days. Your invoice/receipt will be attached to your confirmation email.

Please note that unless there are changes to the NZ Covid situation, the 2022 conference will be face 2 face only and a virtual option will not be available.

Members will be required to provide proof of membership during online registration. Please have the following at hand when registering:

  • A copy of your membership fees receipt or proof of membership fee payment for the current year, that can be uploaded with your registration.
  • Your membership number (if known)

Registration cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to gsnz@confer.co.nz.
Cancellations received on or before new dates to be advised will be charged an administration fee of $100.
No refund will be given for registration cancellations received after 1 November 2022 (including “no shows” at the conference).
Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time.
If the in-person event has to be changed to a virtual format, registration fees will be adjusted accordingly. Delegates who have already registered will receive a partial refund for any difference in registration fees from the in-person fees to the virtual fees.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
