Student Travel and ECR Grants
We require all those who wish to be considered for a Grant to complete an application form and once complete, please email your form to the GSNZ Vice President (vp@gsnz.org.nz)
Applications are due by the main Abstract Submission deadline 28 August. This deadline will assist the National Committee and conference LOC in ensuring that funds are distributed appropriately and in a timely fashion.
Please note: funds provided by the Society will be a contribution towards costs in the order of ~$80 - $150 for students and up to $500 for early career researchers. Successful applicants should not expect to have all attendance expenses covered.

The Geoscience Society of New Zealand is pleased to again be able to offer support to student members to assist with the costs of attending the Annual Conference. Early Career Researcher Grants
This year GSNZ will be providing two ECR grants to support conference attendance. These grants are competitive and are designed to help ECR Society members (≤ 3 years out of their highest degree programme) who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference through financial hardship. The grants will provide financial support of up to $500 to help cover costs to attend the GSNZ Annual Conference.

Financial Support for Childcare
The Geoscience Society of New Zealand is able to offer some financial support to go towards the costs of childcare during the annual conference for those who are financially challenged.
