Using natural pozzolana as a partial cement replacement for sustainable concrete
Natural pozzolana, such as volcanic tephra and pumice, can be used as a partial replacement for cement in concrete production. This reduces the carbon footprint of concrete, aiding the industry's decarbonisation efforts. Our workshop offers a chance to learn from international experts who have implemented this material in their production processes, as well as discuss ongoing research and implementation plans in New Zealand. Attendees can also network with key stakeholders in the field. There is no fee to attend this workshop, however space is limited, so please indicate if you would like to attend when registering for the conference. Additional information will be emailed to you closer to the time.
