Kōtui Ako Virtual Learning Network Aotearoa, is a nation-wide network of schools and kura, who collaborate online, sharing teachers and resources, in order to widen curriculum opportunities for their ākonga/students. Our purpose is to enable access to educational opportunities for all ākonga/students in Aotearoa New Zealand, regardless of where they live or where they go to school.

Effective Mentoring Practices for Secondary Teachers in Aotearoa NZ: A 5-point micro-credential (blended delivery over one school term) for anyone required to mentor others who wants to gain the skills and attributes to become an effective mentor.

Working Collaboratively and Building Leadership Capability: A 5-point micro-credential (blended delivery over one school term) to develop the leadership capability of middle leaders.

Introduction to Managing Difficult Conversations for Teachers: A 1.5 hour webinar to learn a tried and true method for managing a difficult conversation and the skills required to do this well.

Supporting Student Success in Mathematics Learning: A 5-point micro-credential (8 weeks online over one school term) to support successful maths teaching and learning specific to fractions, decimals and percentages.

Women in Educational Leadership: (blended delivery over one school term) to develop the capability of aspiring women leaders working in secondary school settings.

Te Rou – Workplace Te Reo Māori: A 10-point micro-credential (online) made up of three stand-alone 20 hour courses to gain confidence to extend your sentence structures, vocabulary, and phrases to integrate into every day and work life, in both formal and informal settings.
