Student Travel Grants

The Geoscience Society of New Zealand is pleased to again be able to offer support to student members to assist with the costs of attending the Annual Conference. This year, we require all those who wish to be considered for a Travel Grant to complete an application form. This will assist the National Committee and conference LOC in ensuring that funds are distributed appropriately and in a timely fashion. Please note: funds provided by the Society will be a contribution towards the costs of conference attendance. Successful applicants should not expect to have all attendance expenses covered.

Early Career Researcher Grants

This year GSNZ will be providing two ECR grants to support conference attendance. These grants are competitive and are designed to help ECR Society members (≤ 3 years out of their highest degree programme) who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference through financial hardship. The grants will provide financial support of up to $500 to help cover registration, accommodation, or travel costs to attend the GSNZ Annual Conference.
