Welcome to the Springfield Golf Club. “The Club of Champions”. Play the course where former world amateur number one Danny Lee developed the game which now has him playing on the US PGA Tour alongside golfers like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Springfield is a course with a reputation for rewarding enterprising play and a club where everyone is welcome. Set in park-like surroundings, there are many tree-lined fairways with strategically placed greens that offer golfers of all abilities the opportunity to roll in their personal best score.

PLEASE NOTE: The forest is usually a few degrees colder than it is in Rotorua and can get quite frosty in the winter, we recommend a warm pair of socks and one more layer than what you are comfortable in outside. High quality wet weather gear and an extra warm outer layer can be supplied. Closed toe footwear is a must all year round, and there is a weight limit for the tours of 120kg maximum.

Adventure Playground 4x4 Self Drive / Claybird Shooting

Imagine being able to travel over 750 acres of native bush taking in the spectacular views over Lake Rotorua and beyond. Our Rotorua Adventure Playground trails are made from old forestry tracks dating back to the 1930s. Winding between totara, rewarewa and tawa trees, the native trees cast long shadows all along the trails. You can ride at pace on our new 4×4 self drive buggies, followed by some fun with a gun claybird shooting. Our Rotorua Adventure Playground is the place to be. All activities take in the spectacular scenery overlooking Lake Rotorua and our beautiful native bush set on Mount Ngongotaha.
