2022 Conference Awards

To enhance opportunities for celebrating achievements in, and raise the profile of, the concrete industry, Concrete NZ is pleased to announce that it will be moving to two annual awards events.

One of the events will remain part of the established annual Concrete NZ conference formal dinner, held on 14 October 2022 at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua. This event will be primarily inward facing, and appeal to Concrete NZ members across all the Sector Groups and the Learned Society.

The second, new awards event will be outwards facing, appealing to clients and stakeholders not directly involved in the concrete industry, as well as Concrete NZ members. It is hoped that the inaugural Concrete Industry Awards event will take place at some stage during 2023 in Auckland.

The introduction of the new awards framework will see the Learned Society’s Concrete Awards, Concrete³ Sustainability Awards and Readymix Awards discontinued.

The revised awards framework does, however, acknowledge and respect the historical awards.
