June is the dry season in Samoa and to expect temperatures of 24 – 29C, lower humidity and sunny days – also peak tourist season, so book early for better deals and availability. Expect occasional short rain showers.
Recommendations
Pack lightweight clothing, sunscreen and plenty of insect repellent. We recommend loose, light-coloured long-sleeved shirts and long pants in Samoa to protect against mosquitoes, especially during dawn and dusk when they are most active; pair with repellent and consider permethrin-treated clothes for best results against dengue.
Whilst there will be wi-fi at Taumeasina Resort, we recommend you purchase a SIM Card on arrival at Faleolo International Apia airport, otherwise to make any local calls, it is very expensive. Kiosks are open for flight arrivals. Data plans are available from 49WST
