Judy Mataia

Judy is the Director of Housing and Pasefika Development at Visionwest.  Prior to joining Visionwest, Judy was the CEO for the Anglican Trust for Women & Children (ATWC). Judy has also worked for the Department of Child Youth and Family Services (now Oranga Tamariki) and taught in the undergraduate and master’s social work programmes at Unitec.

In addition to her advisory roles across Oranga Tamariki and the Ministry of Social Development, and the various national board positions she holds, Judy is involved in governance training for Pasefika leaders with LEAD Centre for Not-for-Profit Governance and Leadership. 

Judy holds a master’s degree in social work, a Master of Business Administration (Hons) from Massey University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Auckland. She has also completed the Global Women’s Breakthrough Leadership programme. Judy has a strong commitment to social change and community development, through a Collective Impact approach.

Radhe Nand

Radhe is a Managing Director and co-founder of the firm, with over 37 years experience in New Zealand’s legal sector. Since being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1988, Radhe has built a diverse legal practice covering commercial law, property law, trusts, family law, employment law, immigration, and litigation. His legal expertise spans both individual and corporate matters, and he is known for delivering clear, practical advice across complex legal issues.Radhe first migrated to New Zealand in 1982 and completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Auckland. Over the course of his career, he has advised on corporate structures, residential and commercial property transactions, family trusts, employment disputes, immigration matters, commercial transactions, criminal defence, civil litigation, defamation, harassment, and employment disputes. His client base includes individuals, families, businesses, and high-profile organisations, reflecting his ability to navigate a wide range of legal challenges.

Before co-founding the firm in 2004 with Hemant Patel, Radhe worked in several well-established law firms in New Zealand, gaining broad experience across multiple areas of law. Radhe has also appeared in both the District Court, High Court and Supreme Court. He is also experienced in mediations and has represented clients at tribunal hearings. His leadership has helped shape the firm’s multidisciplinary approach and commitment to client service.

Radhe has also made significant contributions to the legal profession and the wider community. He is a founding member of the Immigration and Refugee Law Sub-Committee, a member of the Property and Business Law Committee of the Auckland District Law Society, and has served on the New Zealand Refugee Council. He is currently a member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal and acts as Honorary Legal Counsel to a number of religious, sporting, cultural, educational, and charitable health organisations in New Zealand and overseas.
