Guidelines for Submission

This year we are trialling poster presentations as well as oral presentations.

When you email us your abstract, please indicate whether you are submitting a Poster or Oral.

To submit your abstract, please email your abstract as a PDF and Microsoft Word attached file to industrialwaters@confer.co.nz.

  • Presentation types: 30 minutes Oral presentation or Poster Presentation
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English or accompanied with an English version.
  • Submissions should be no more than 250 words.
  • Include a short bio for the Presenting Author
  • If you are submitting on behalf of the Presenting Author, please include their email address
  • Use standard abbreviations only. 
  • Abstracts must contain sufficient information so that if published it will be a complete report independent of presentation. The abstract should not contain statements alluding to results or conclusions not presented within the text.
  • Please limit your abstract to one page. 
  • If you wish to use any graphical object (graph, photo, drawing, etc) make sure that the resolution of the object is sufficiently high and the object is centred on the page.
  • Posters to be supplied by yourself: A0 Portrait size

General Information

Review and Notification to Authors
All completed abstracts will be reviewed. You will be informed by email (from industrialwaters@confer.co.nz) of the acceptance status of your abstract by 27 May 2024.

Registration
All presenters are required to register and pay the Conference registration fee in order to be included in the program and to present on site. Registration and payment of registration fee by presenters of accepted abstracts must be completed no later than 12 July 2024.

Publication
By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication in conference proceedings or similar by NZTIWF.
