We are pleased to offer the following breakfast sessions as part of the NZSEE 2026 Conference.
If you wish to register for any of the breakfast sessions, please indicate this at the time you complete your registration.
This session will begin with a light breakfast in the foyer, followed by the presentations of the seismic design entrants.
Join the Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE leadership team for a breakfast session to learn more about Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE’s research to date and help shape the future research programme.
Since its inception ten years ago, Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE has funded a significant amount of research that has supported increased seismic resilience in Aotearoa New Zealand. We will provide a brief overview of some of the highlights from the last ten years focusing on the impact of the research. As the research centre looks to the future, we invite the broader earthquake engineering community to help us understand what are the areas of critical need for the future of earthquake research in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This session is aimed at practicing engineers, stakeholders and local and regional government and places will be prioritised for individuals from these groups.
