Call for Abstracts & Workshops

Submission Information

NZIP is calling to its members and members of the Physics community to submit abstracts/workshops for the 2025 conference. Submissions are welcome across all physics topics and interactive workshops for educators are encouraged.

Guidelines
To submit your abstract or workshop proposal please have on hand a title and authors/presenters with affiliations. We will also be requesting a profile image and a short biography for the presenter(s).

The abstract body has a limit of 500 words but we recommend 200 - 300 words.

If you are submitting on behalf of the presenter, please have their email address ready to include in the submission.

You will be able to choose from the following presentation types:

  1. Talk (for presenting in the academic/general stream)
  2. Poster
  3. Workshop (for presenting in the education stream targeting secondary school educators)
Presenters will be provided with details about the length of their talks and size of posters in the acceptance communication.

The Workshop category in the education stream is meant to be flexible and may comprise short or medium-length presentations, interactive hands-on workshops, or discussion sessions. If you are proposing a Workshop, please include your preferred room format, suggested duration of the activity, any specialty support required and maximum numbers (if applicable) in the Abstract box in the submission form.
