Student Registration*
You must study at an NZ Institute and be a member of NZSGS to receive the student rate.

  • The Thursday Conference Dinner is an additional cost of $125 + GST

*Students will be asked to upload evidence of their current student status during registration.

Become a NZGS Member

Sign up to become a NZSGS Member and benefit from discounted conference registration fees along with a number of other great benefits.

You need to be a NZSGS member (Full, Student, Life or Long Service) in order to register at the appropriate member rate.

Membership is limited to engineers, scientists, technicians, contractors, students and others who are interested in the practice and application of soil mechanics, rock mechanics and engineering geology.

Students from a NZ Institute can become members free of charge.

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to nzgs2025@confer.co.nz.
Cancellations received on or before 3 September 2025 will be charged an administration fee of $100.
No refund will be given for registration cancellations received after 3 September 2025 (including “no shows” at the conference). Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
