Guidelines for Submission

To submit your abstract please prepare to upload your abstract as a PDF and Microsoft Word file. Your title and authors/affiliations will also need to be entered into separate fields. 

  • Submissions should be no more than 250 words.
  • You will be required to enter a bio for the Principal Presenting Author (max. 100 words).
  • If you are submitting on behalf of the Principal Presenter, please have their email address ready to include in the submission.
  • Use standard abbreviations only. Within the body of the abstract, when using abbreviations spell out the name in full at the first mention and follow with the abbreviation in parenthesis. Abbreviations may be used in the title, provided the name in full is outlined in the body of the abstract.
  • Abstracts must contain sufficient information so that if published it will be a complete report independent of presentation. The abstract should not contain statements alluding to results or conclusions not presented within the text.
  • Please limit your abstract to one page at most. If you wish to use any graphical object (graph, photo, drawing, etc) make sure that the resolution of the object is sufficiently high and the object is centred on the page.

General Information

Presentation

  • Oral presentations will be included within topical sessions of the official Conference programme.
  • Full Presentations will need to be submitted to industrialwaters@confer.co.nz for inclusion in the Members Only section of the NZTIWF website post-conference. Additional information will follow with your notification email.

Language of Submission

All abstracts must be submitted in English or accompanied with an English version.

Word Count

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.

Review and Notification to Authors

All completed abstracts will be reviewed. You will be informed by email (from industrialwaters@confer.co.nz) of the acceptance status of your abstract in June 2022.

Registration

All presenters are required to register and pay the Conference registration fee in order to be included in the program and to present on site. Registration and payment of registration fee by presenters of accepted abstracts must be completed no later than 1 July 2022.

Publication

By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication in conference proceedings or similar by NZTIWF.
