News & Updates

In town on May 20th? Great! Take a look at this fantastic Wellington On A Plate event inspired by ICC10!

The Crustacean Beer Congress
20 May 12:00-late: Free entry @ The Malthouse (76 Willis Street)
To show off Wellington’s incredible beer scene to visiting carcinologists, a few of the 'crabital’s' best breweries will be competing to create 'cray-zy' crustacean-inspired beers. 'Clam-ber' down to the Malthouse to cast a vote for your favourite. One brewery will win the ultimate bragging rights: an as yet-unnamed crustacean will be named after them!

Amphipod Workshop

After the exciting tenth International Crustacean Congress, there is bonus added content for the amphipod and amphipod curious community.

Following the ICC10 there will be a 4 day (29th May - 1st June) combined amphipod and bioinformatics of peracarids workshop.

This workshop will be held in Wellington (at NIWA) aimed at bringing together established researchers with those earlier in their career to pass on the secret ways of the amphipod and will include the following joys.
