The conference has now concluded and thank you to everyone that registered. We will automatically send you the information for the next conference when dates and a venue have been arranged and we look forward to seeing you there. If your email address changes, please send your new address to gsnz@confer.co.nz. If you did not register for this conference but wish to receive information on the next conference, please email us at gsnz@confer.co.nz to express your interest.
Warning: Fraudulent websites and booking agencies
Please be aware of the proliferation of fraudulent websites impersonating legitimate conference websites and posing as booking agencies. For your safety we advise all attendees to only use the official conference website for all conference related bookings; accommodation, registration and trade exhibitors. (you may also be offered the opportunity to purchase an attendee list – which doesn’t exist). Conferences & Events Ltd is the official accommodation agency for all hotel rooms that have been secured for Morning Halls and for all related official bookings. Any other organisation contacting you to offer hotel rates should be ignored – they are most likely a scam and highly likely to result in you losing any money you pay to them.
The conference will be held on Massey University’s Turitea Campus and will include oral and poster sessions, an evening public lecture, pre-conference workshops and several post-conference field trips. The annual conference provides ideal opportunities to meet with fellow researchers, and finally network and interact face-to-face again with our friends and colleagues.
The conference structure will be very similar to what was originally planned for 2021. The programme commences on the Monday evening with an Icebreaker function and will include an informal barbeque and formal conference dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. The large seating capacity of the conference dinner venue guarantees room for everyone and we sincerely hope that as many students as possible will attend that function. There will also be numerous lunchtime breakout sessions, meetings, and workshops.
After last year’s unfortunate but unavoidable postponement, we look forward to welcoming you to Palmerston North this November for what we hope will be another very successful annual conference.
