A range of informal and inclusive social functions will be offered throughout the 2026 conference. In contrast to previous years, there will be no formal seated conference dinner. Instead, social activities are designed to maximise participation, encourage connection, and are included as part of the overall registration fee (unless otherwise stated).Further details will be confirmed closer to the conference.

Join us for the conference icebreaker — a relaxed and welcoming way to kick off the week and connect with fellow delegates. This informal event is open to all attendees, including students, and provides an ideal opportunity to meet new people, catch up with colleagues, and ease into the conference programme.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.

The Poster & Networking Reception provides an opportunity to engage with the latest research while connecting with colleagues in an informal setting. Delegates are encouraged to visit posters, discuss ideas with presenters, and continue conversations sparked during the day’s sessions.Exhibitors are also welcome to remain for this function, which will take place within the exhibition and poster area.

A mid conference social function is currently being planned for Wednesday evening. This event is intended to replace the traditional conference dinner with a more flexible and inclusive format, offering space to connect, unwind, and enjoy the company of other delegates.
