Post-Conference Site Visit: Ō Mahurangi (Penlink) Project & Wēiti River Bridge

Join a guided post-conference site visit to the Ō Mahurangi (Penlink) Project in North Auckland, featuring the Wēiti River Bridge works and associated geotechnical and construction innovations.This visit provides a practical, on-site perspective to complement several conference presentations related to bridge engineering, geotechnical design, and construction.

If you have already expressed interest for the site visit during the registration process, you will receive an email asking you to sign up to the site visit. If you have not yet registered to attend the conference, you can sign up via the registration form.


Site Visit Information

Date Wednesday 26 August
Departure 9:00am from NZICC (Auckland CBD)
Return 12:00pm to NZICC
Transport Chartered bus provided
Duration On Site 1 hour guided tour
Capacity Maximum 40 participants
Cost $35 per person

PPE Requirements

The following PPE must be provided by and worn by all participants:

  • Hard hat
  • High-visibility jacket
  • Lace-up steel cap safety boots (no slip-ons)
  • Safety glasses
  • Long pants
  • Long-sleeve shirt (full wrist-to-ankle cover)
