Call for Abstracts

Key Dates

  • Abstract submission opens: End of March 2025
  • Abstract submission deadline: 1 May 2025 extended to 20 May 2025
  • Presenters notified: End of May 2025

The NZTIWF Conference 2025 organising committee invite you to submit an abstract for consideration and inclusion in the technical programme.

This year we are using an online abstract submission form. This will help reduce email traffic for you further down the line and it will help the organising committee review your submission.

Before you submit your abstract, we recommend you read the guidelines and prepare the required fields and copy them into the form.

Required Information

  • Presenting Author details (incl. photo and biography, these will be published on the conference website)
  • Abstract title
  • Presentation types: 
    • 30 minutes Oral presentation (27 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A)
      OR
    • Poster Presentation (Posters to be supplied by yourself: A0 Portrait size)
  • Abstract topic (see suggested topics below)
  • 250 word abstract

Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English or accompanied with an English version.
  • Use standard abbreviations only. 
  • Submissions should be no more than 250 words.
  • Abstracts must contain sufficient information so that if published it will be a complete report independent of presentation. The abstract should not contain statements alluding to results or conclusions not presented within the text.

General Information

Review and Notification to Authors
All completed abstracts will be reviewed. You will be informed by email (from industrialwaters@confer.co.nz) of the acceptance status of your abstract by End of May 2025

Registration
All presenters are required to register and pay the Conference registration fee in order to be included in the program and to present on site. Registration and payment of registration fee by presenters of accepted abstracts must be completed no later than 11 July 2025.

Publication
By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication in conference proceedings or similar by NZTIWF.
