Our conference will be held at Lincoln University, while our field trips will allow delegates to explore the landscapes and ecosystems of Christchurch and the broader Canterbury area.
The theme for the conference is Ngā Koiora o Konei / Biodiversity Where We Are, recognising the dire state of biodiversity at global, national and local levels, and the pressing need to document, understand and conserve biodiversity where we live. Of course, as with all NZES conferences, we welcome presentations on a full range of ecological topics, not just those associated with the main theme.
Come and join us at Lincoln on 1 - 5 December to catch up with friends and colleagues old and new, make new connections, hear about the latest research in ecology and conservation, and join in on lively discussions on how best to manage our treasured biodiversity.
