Welcome to the Neurological Association of New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

Tēnā koutou katoa

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 NANZ Annual Scientific Meeting this November.  Join us at the beautiful Napier War Memorial Centre on Hawke’s Bay iconic coastline. We will be gathering as clinicians, researchers, trainees, and allied health professionals with a shared commitment to improving neurological care across the lifespan.

We are looking forward to a memorable meeting. The invited speakers will focus on three themes of growing importance in our field: functional neurology, dissociative seizures, and the transitions from paediatric to adult care. Each of these areas challenge us to rethink traditional models, engage with nuanced patient experiences, and strengthen collaboration across disciplines.

As usual at the NANZ ASM, we hope to cover much more besides. Your contributions are key to making the meeting a success! We welcome submissions for presentations or posters relating to all aspects of Neurology.

Conferences thrive on the generosity of shared ideas, honest debate, and the connections we form with one another. And of course, we hope you will also enjoy everything Napier has to offer—from its Art Deco charm to the landscapes that make this region so special.

We look forward to seeing you in Hawke’s Bay for an inspiring, collegial, and enjoyable meeting.

Ngā mihi nui!
