Membership

GSNZ, Geological Society of Australia and New Zealand Geothermal Association Members are entitled to discounted registration rates.

As per an MOU, GSA members are entitled to the GSNZ membership rate.
As per an MOU, NZGA members are entitled to a 10% discount off the Non-Member rates and please contact NZGA directly for your bespoke code.

Your membership status will be checked so please ensure your membership is up to date. To qualify for the reduced member registration fee you need to be a current financial, honorary or complimentary member. New members are welcome to take advantage of this benefit but your membership subscription will need to be paid prior to your registration being made.

To help you plan your attendance at the GSNZ Annual Conference 2026, a large range of accommodation options are available in Rotorua to suit different preferences and budgets. We have managed to get some discounted rates at a couple of accommodation providers located closest to the Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. CLICK HERE for more information. It is a busy time of year in the region so we recommend booking early!

If you would prefer to stay more centrally in Rotorua, Toi Ohomai is well served by public transport via Routes 11 and 12. Check out the Baybus website for latest timetables and fares.
