Workshops

2:00pm - 3:00pm Workshop One

Showcasing oVRcome technology and how it can help patients
Adam Hutchinson

oVRcome helps reduce patients’ anxiety about visiting hospitals by letting them experience the journey ahead of time, right from home on their smartphone. Through immersive VR, patients can walk through the hospital environment, see what the procedure will involve, and familiarise themselves with the process before the actual day. By making the experience predictable and less intimidating, oVRcome helps patients feel calmer and more prepared, leading to smoother procedures and better outcomes
