We are excited to announce the Provisionally Certificated Teachers’ Conference, scheduled to return in July 2025. We invite secondary teachers, including those in area schools and internationally trained educators, who are provisionally certificated and actively working towards full certification, to join us for this two-day event.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend speaker and workshop sessions that address a range of important topics, including the implementation of Tikanga and Kawa in educational contexts, effective classroom management techniques, strategies for enhancing student engagement, inclusive teaching practices for LGBTQ+ students, and support strategies for neurodiverse learners. The conference will also include sessions focused on cultivating a healthy work-life balance and thriving in the teaching profession.
Join kaiako from across the motu to network, and gain valuable insights and practical strategies for enhancing your teaching practice.
This conference is free for delegates to attend and will be held on the 7-8 July 2025 at The Brentwood Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington. Please note that spaces are limited.
