As we look towards 2027, we invite you to join us for the NASDAP Conference in the vibrant city of Ōtautahi Christchurch, with great anticipation. We still feel the energy from the extraordinary success of our 2025 gathering in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, which served as a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience within our secondary leadership community.

The theme for our 2027 conference is “Poipoia te kākano kia puāwai | Reimagining Leadership.” As senior leaders, we know that when the New Zealand education landscape shifts, these complex challenges land directly in our laps. From steering our schools through significant curriculum changes to managing the transformative impact of external agency accountability and the impact and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in our roles and Kura, we are responsible for balancing innovation with the core values of our education system.

At the heart of NASDAP are our core values: advocacy, collaboration, and professional learning. Our organisation remains a steadfast voice for secondary leaders, ensuring your unique roles are supported and recognised nationally. A key pillar of this commitment is our ongoing support for our regions. By providing funded professional development, we ensure that high-quality networking and skill-building remain accessible to all leaders, strengthening the collective expertise of our membership across the country.

The 2027 conference will provide a dedicated space for us to share strategies and find inspiration as we work toward an agile and visionary approach to our roles.
