Conflict Resolution Conference 2017
After such a high level of interest in the Relate-Resolve-Restore conference and the really amazing support when the conference was cancelled after the Kaikoura earthquake, we’ve decided to bring it back! The Relate-Resolve-Restore conference is being Recovered-Revived-Rerun!
Welcome to the 2017 Conflict Resolution Conference – whether you had planned to attend the 2016 conference or not!
This unique, multi-disciplinary conference will explore the broad spectrum of alternative conflict resolution processes, looking at both the latest developments within each discipline and the potential for cross-fertilisation and collaboration between approaches. Plenary sessions will deal with issues of common concern while workshops will enable practitioners and policymakers within the various fields of mediation, arbitration, conciliation and restorative justice/practice to share learning and encourage innovation.

Dealing constructively with conflict is essential to achieving a just and peaceful society. Conflicts come in many shapes and sizes and there is no “one size fits all” solution. Methods of resolution need to be tailored to the circumstances.
